So after my return from JHB I ended spending a few extra days at home sick. I managed to recover from illness and get some practice for the WP indoor qualifying event. I had a pretty good shoot, not a fantastic score (does not help shooting your 2nd to last arrow through the clicker and scoring a ‘3’) but felt strong and had some very good arrows.
Samantha impressed everyone with breaking 2 provincial Indoor records. she will be kicking my butt indoors very very soon.
I also came back from JHB with some good 2nd Hand ACE arrows to test out, they don’t quite match my setup but I still shot some very good grouping with them at 30m. Awaiting delivery of some heavier arrow points with will help them match my bow. Once received I’ll give the arrows another try to see how things go. Holding Thumbs…
the next 2 weekends consist of the Western Province IFAA indoor Champs and the Western Province WA FITA indoor champs. So practice sessions are focused on good grouping for indoor, along with keeping my form and strength
